Psychologist, Clinic Director
Dr. Jenna Albiani is a clinical psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). Her practice focuses on the assessment and treatment of adults with difficulties related to their mood, anxiety, addiction, and trauma-related disorders (i.e., PTSD). She also has a special interest in working with postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
Dr. Albiani’s primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), which is a short-term, goal-directed treatment that is effective for a variety of psychological problems. Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based treatments are also regularly incorporated into treatment to best address the specific needs of clients.
Dr. Albiani received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ryerson University in 2014. She has trained and worked in a variety of hospitals and centres, including the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Clinic at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, university counselling centres, and the Outpatient Mental Health Program at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Prior to founding Northern Psychology Group, Dr. Albiani worked as a staff psychologist within the Mental Health and Addiction Program at Health Sciences North (HSN).
Dr. Albiani is a member of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA) and the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT). She has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in the area of health psychology and has presented her research at national and international conferences.
Social Worker (RSW, MSW), Psychotherapist
Wendy Pascoe is a social worker and psychotherapist. She is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and is a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). Wendy is certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy through the Academy of Cognitive & Behavioural Therapies (ACBT) and has a particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Depending on individual needs, she may also draw upon her training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Wendy is a yoga therapist certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and integrates yogic breathing techniques, mindfulness, and movement practices into her therapy sessions when appropriate. Wendy provides evidence-based therapy for a range of emotional and adjustment difficulties, including issues related to anxiety, mood, trauma, and substance use.
Wendy obtained her BSc (Psychology) and her MSW through the University of Toronto. She worked as a clinical social worker for Health Sciences North’s (HSN) Community Mental Health & Addictions Programs for over two decades, and was a recipient of HSN’s Award for Clinical Excellence in 2017. She was a regular facilitator and mentor in HSN’s CBT training program and has also provided mentorship to HSN staff in Motivational Interviewing.
Psychologist
Annalie Pelot is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board (NLPB). She provides psychological assessments and individual psychotherapy services to adults (i.e., individuals 18+) presenting with various mental health conditions, including
mood disorders (e.g., depressive disorders, bipolar disorders), anxiety and anxiety-related disorders (e.g., obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias), stress-related disorders (e.g., posttraumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders), neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorders), personality disorders, and insomnia.
Annalie has a particular interest in assessment of adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and treatment supportive of women’s mental health issues (e.g., infertility and loss, peripartum and postpartum disorders, and menopause). Her psychotherapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) including CBT for insomnia (CBT-i), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, but she may also employ Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training, and supportive counselling techniques in treatment.
Annalie prioritizes her continuous development in the profession of psychology and providing evidence-based services to her clients. She emphasizes a client-centred and collaborative approach to helping her clients achieve therapeutic and personal goals. She has several peer-reviewed journal articles related to facial expression processing and recognition in clinical and non-clinical populations and has presented her research at provincial and national conferences. When Annalie is not engaging in clinical work, she is spending time with her family, doing hot yoga, or out in the backcountry camping.

Rose is a registered social worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She provides a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed therapy services for adult mental health conditions, specializing in anxiety, mood, substance use, and trauma-related disorders. By working together to identify the source of stress or problems, she can help you strengthen your coping skills and find effective solutions thereby enhancing your mental health and functioning.
Rose obtained her Bachelor (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) degrees from Laurentian University. She is a certified cognitive therapist (CBT) with the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, as well as a certified solution-focused therapist (SFT) with CCPC Global. She works as a clinical social worker for Health Sciences North’s (HSN) Mental Health & Addictions Community-based services, and provides facilitation and mentorship in HSN’s CBT clinician training program. Although Rose’s primary therapeutic approach is CBT, she also uses Mindfulness based, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour (DBT), Cognitive Processing (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapies.
Clinical Associate/Therapist
Mariah Krancevich is a Clinical Associate who is currently completing hours towards registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). Mariah practices under the direct supervision of Dr. Albiani. She participates in evidence-based psychotherapy with adults who present with various mental health struggles, including mood disorders, anxiety and related disorders, and stress-related disorders such as posttraumatic stress disorder and adjustment disorders.
Mariah primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with her clients but may also employ Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) as well as supportive counselling techniques within treatment.
Mariah achieved her B.A (Honours) in Psychology from York University (2018) where she completed her honours thesis on the Perceptions of Women Athletes. From there, Mariah went on to complete her M.A. in Counselling Psychology from Western University (2020) where her master’s thesis focused on Military Domestic Homicide.
Mariah has a keen interest in working with athletes of all levels, as well as with postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
Clinical Associate/Therapist
Denis Vaillancourt is a Clinical Associate completing the final stages of his Ph.D. training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. Denis provides psychotherapy and conducts comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessments under the supervision of Dr. Albiani. He is currently working with the Northern Psychology Group until August 2024, after which he will commence his pre-doctoral residency year at the University of Ottawa.
Denis aims to specialize in assessments and interventions with clients facing challenges related to mood, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders, as well as issues concerning sexual and gender identity. He holds a special interest in serving clients from the queer community. Denis primarily utilizes a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) approach to therapy while integrating supportive counselling and mindfulness techniques. Denis views his clients from a whole-person, humanistic lens to individually tailor treatment to best serve their needs and goals.
Denis received his M.A. in Applied Psychology from Laurentian University in 2020 and is on track to complete his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2025. He has received training in a variety of settings, including private practice, a university clinic, and both inpatient and outpatient settings in hospital. Additionally, he has gained experience in a community mental health outpatient clinic specializing in the treatment of PTSD. Denis aspires to complete his doctoral level training and return to Sudbury to practice as a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
Clinical Associate/Therapist
Jessica Arrigo is a Clinical Associate who is currently completing hours towards registration as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO). She achieved her Master of Arts in Applied (Clinical) Psychology as well as her Honors Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University. Jessica practices under the direct supervision of Dr. Jenna Albiani, C.Psych.
Jessica conducts comprehensive psychological assessments and engages in evidence-based psychotherapy with adults who present with various mental health conditions including: Mood, Anxiety, and Rrauma-Related Disorders; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; Autism Spectrum Disorder; and Personality Disorders. She also has a special interest in helping those suffering with perfectionism, relationship problems, and complex family dynamics. Her psychotherapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She may also employ Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills training, and supportive counselling techniques in treatment. Jessica’s primary goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights, and develop the skills needed to live a more meaningful life.
Administrative Assistant
Wendy Louste is the Administrative Assistant for Northern Psychology Group. Wendy responds to all telephone calls, emails, and answers any questions you may have regarding a referral to our group and any billing issues. Wendy brings 20 years of experience from Health Sciences North as a program secretary where she worked with the Outpatient Addictions and Gambling Services and the Regional Eating Disorders Program. She is committed to helping facilitate the referral process for the client.
